I booked my car in thinking I had a good idea of what it was going to cost, but once it was already there I was told about some extra charges. The work seems okay, and the staff were polite, so no real complaints there. It was just a bit frustrating, really, because I thought the price was the price. I’d probably go back if I needed to, but next time I’d definitely ask more questions upfront before saying yes to anything.

I booked my MOT online in just a few minutes and it was all straightforward. The site was easy to use, I chose a time that worked for me, and the confirmation came through straight away. If this is how the rest of the service is, I’d say they’ve got the basics spot on. No hassle at all really.

Took my car in because it kept cutting out, and they got straight to the point. Found the fault, fixed it the same day, and it’s been running perfectly since. No messing around, just a proper repair that actually did the job. Happy with the service.

I took my car to Halfords Autocentre because it had this weird knocking noise and I had no idea what was going on. To be fair, they checked it over quickly and explained the problem in plain English, which I appreciated. The only annoying bit was that some of the communication around timings wasn’t very clear, so I wasn’t always sure what was happening or when I’d hear back. That said, they didn’t pressure me into anything and they found the issue fast, so overall I was happy and would probably use them again.

I’ve always stuck with this brand, so I was a bit disappointed when something got missed after my service. Part of me was thinking maybe it was time to try somewhere else, and I expected loads of back and forth, but the manager called me the same day and booked it back in.
They got it sorted, explained what had happened, and didn’t make me feel awkward for raising it. I’m still a little torn because I expect better from a place I’ve been loyal to, but fair play, they handled the complaint properly.

I popped into Halfords Autocentre and was surprised by how clean it was around the place. The waiting area was tidy, the floors looked clean, and it didn’t have that grubby feel you get in some garages. The staff were good too, but the cleanliness was about the main thing that stood out to me

They did a really good job and everything was done properly. The workmanship was solid, like the finish looked neat, the little details were taken care of, nothing felt rushed, and it all came together the way it should. You know when something is done carefully, like the edges are tidy, things line up right, and you don’t have to point out a bunch of mistakes afterward? That’s how it felt. I’m careful with money when it comes to car stuff, so I really appreciate that they explain what actually needs doing and what can probably wait a bit.
I’ve never felt pressured into extra work or like they’re trying to panic me into spending more than I need to. The prices are clear, and they always call before doing anything, which makes a big difference. It just feels like a garage I can trust, that’s not always easy to find.
